October is National Children’s Health Month! The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4’s Children’s Environmental Health program has strong partnerships across the southeast to help us achieve our goal of implementing programs that protect our most vulnerable populations. Specifically, we maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners focused on healthy homes, healthy schools, providing asthma education, decreasing lead exposure in children and more. To that end the EPA is excited to partner with Peachtree Charter Middle School to host its signature event, the 2019 Children’s Environmental Health Month Federal Partners Expo on October 25, 2019. Students will participate in discussions and activities that support STEM and health awareness. Please see the attached flyer.
