In our mission to ensure student success, DeKalb County School District is always looking to join forces with other partners and organizations who will help us make a bigger impact in the lives of the students we serve. With this vision in mind, DCSD is excited to introduce our newest partner, purposity. If you knew a child down the street had a simple need—say they needed sneakers for school—chances are you’d help, right? But, it’s hard to know the needs of real people in your community because there has never been a way to connect people who could really use help with people who could offer it. That is until now. Purposity allows you to quickly and easily lend a hand to someone right here in DeKalb County. By signing up, and following DeKalb County School District, you’re sent just one weekly notification of a specific need for one of our students.
